'Mr James' Garden: Jardin de los Sueños

A very special project celebrating music, sculpture and one of the world's most fascinating gardens - the surrealist Las Pozas in Mexico, created by Edward James, one of the 20th Century's great philanthropists and sometime owner of West Dean House in West Sussex.

Following an introduction to Edward James, this exciting promenade concert created by award-winning creative director and pianist Ann Martin-Davis takes in sculptures by three of Mexico's most prestigious artists based on ravishing classical works by Debussy, Marquez and John Ireland. Each sculpture will be placed within a magical space with musicians Ann Martin-Davis (piano), Angel Padilla (harp) and Susan Legg (mezzo-soprano), creating an intimate journey in three parts through the garden of water, the garden of the earth and the garden of life.
